Brendan Collins

Brendan is a software developer with expertise in data science and geospatial technology. He is also Founder and Principal at makepath, a spatial data science firm in Austin, Texas. A lover of all things open source, he joined the Anaconda team for several years. He has worked with companies including NASA, Samsung, The Nature Conservancy, World Wildlife Fund, USAID, and The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. He is an active contributor on several open source projects including Datashader and Bokeh, and most recently created the xarray-spatial library for large scale spatial analysis.
